Cognac Pfeife

 First introduced in the 17 hundreds in France, the Cognac Pfeife was exclusively used by the rich. 

Initially made from gold and silver, this is what French's high society used to enjoy their cognac.  Now you can too.

This beautiful Cognac Pipe is handcrafted in Switzerland and each pipe has its own unique features, as no two are alike. No mold is used in its production, but each pipe is hand-blown. A show piece, a conversation piece, as well as for practical use to hand-warm your cognac to the desired drinking temperature.

It's a personal choice, but it is generally accepted that cognac should be served at around body temperature. Heating your cognac too much will simply cause the more delicate and volatile alcohol to evaporate into thin air. This is also true of traditional 'brandy snifter' glasses - they are so large that all of these precious vapors are lost. A tulip shaped glass will concentrate these in the chimney at the top, where they can be appreciated.
