Milagro Anejo Barrel Select    Each agave plant chosen for Milagro's Select Barrrel Reserve is hand picked in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico at the peak of ripeness under the personal supervision of Milagro's Tequila Master. The agaves are cooked and then distilled, not once but three times. Time in the oak casks mellows and refines the tequila and gives the Tequila Master the richness of flavors he needs to blend these single barrel batches into one of the world's finest tequilas.

Le Tourment Vert

Unlike most absinthes, Le Tourment Vert, sometime referred to as “The Green Torment”, is bright green in color and is bottled at 100 proof.

Absente has a pronounced bitterness and the traditional way of drinking it is with water and sugar. The taste is a fine balance of anis (licorice) flavor with a blend of herbs including fennel, sage and coriander. Le Tourment can actually be consumed but refined to your taste with water and sugar. Here are some comments from consumers:

“Unlike many absinthes, Le Tourment is quite sweet, so much so that it cuts the licorice aroma when you first take a sip. The licorice returns on the finish, dissolving into herbal notes (which must be the Saveurs d’Herbes mentioned on the label).

“If you’re into absinthe, at least a little, you owe it to yourself to track down and snatch up a bottle of the stuff. It’s significantly different than anything else on the market; while it’s very controversial, it’s an interesting counterpoint to the more traditional absinthe bottling out there.”

Chivas Regal 21 Years Royal Salute, a blended Scotch whisky, was first launched on 2 June 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The name of this exceptional whisky comes form the 21 Gun Royal Gun Salute, which is fired as a mark of respect for dignitaries. This rich and complex whisky is aged for 21 years in oak casks, then bottled in handcrafted British porcelain flagons. Aromas take time to develop and consist of almond, touch of honey and nuts, and red apple, underlined with hints of smoke. On the palate a complex mix develops that reach raspberry, lemon and lime, softened with a sweetness of marzipan and coconut. The finish is long and complex. Lucid Absinthe Lucid represents a breakthrough product for the US market as it is the first true, Grande Wormwood-based Absinthe. You need wormwood to make real absinthe, but the herb is a tricky one to work with -- one of its key compounds, thujone, has long been considered the cause of the drink's supposed side effects: hallucinations, artistic inspiration, degeneracy and homicidal mania. Thujone has been prohibited as a food and drink ingredient in the United States since 1912.
