Re-launched in 2007 as a series of vintage expressions, and repositioned as a premium product, this previously
unsung hero is now finally getting the attention and respect it
deserves.
From a first-fill Bourbon cask, the fresh
nose provides pineapple, lemon and spice. Fudge, honey, spices,
sultanas and hard toffee dominate the palate, lingering with lemon in
the longish, creamy finish. 43.0% ABV
Auchroisk 20 years
One of two Speyside whiskies in the 2010 Special Releases which seldom
become available at any age, still less at 20 years plus.
This rare Auchroisk has been released after 20 years in a mix of
American and European Oak Casks, making it a "poised, sweet and
astonishingly sophisticated dessert whisky", say tasters.
Bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.1% ABV, it is a limited
edition of only 6000 individually numbered bottles.

Van Gogh Vodka is
handcrafted in small batches using the finest grains, which is a
combination of mainly wheat and a little corn and barley. Our vodka is
distilled twice in column stills and then a third time in a traditional
pot still to produce a vodka of the highest refinement. The copper pot
still takes “the bite” out of the alcohol, making the vodka very
smooth. Purified water is superior over distilled water. When water is
distilled, it takes the character out, and the water becomes a liquid
without identity. Van

Speckled Hen .... it's back
"Old Speckled Hen" has a
full, smooth flavor and is very easy to drink. Its rich amber colour
and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty
tastes.
Toffee and malt combine
with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness.
This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

who are discovering that this crafted English beer is perfect with
friends, during a quiet moment of relaxation or as a complement to a
meal.

Nicely made,
little strange with the first sip, but the second and subsequent ones
are an enjoyment.
VODOO TIKI Tequilla
Voodoo Tiki Tequila
is a 100% Weber blue agave, ultra-premium tequila
distilled in the small Mexican town of Capilla de Guadalupe in the
“Corazón de Los Altos” region of Jalisco. The area is known for
producing top-knotch agave plants, which are allowed to grow for 10
years. Once harvested the pinas are steamed slowly in hornos
(controlled ovens) for 50-72 hours, until the desired sweet agave
flavor is reached. The baked agave is then pressed to release its sweet
juices, which are then fermented, distilled twice and barreled as
tequila.
Johnnie Walker Swing
was created for the
'golden age' of travel in the twenties and thirties when
luxury liners carried high society passengers around the world. The
Swing
name derives from the rocking motion of the bottle, which swings to and
fro
on a convex base when gently pushed. Swing has therefore
been
specially blended to reflect a perfect balance. It has a rich old gold
color
and a nose of almost perfumed sweetness. It is smooth with a light
freshness
that covers a deeper fruitiness with some smoke and oak flavors.
Unusually
for a whisky it has no age statement.
